On these days less peoples are interested their circus, so they are now compelled to take up wage labour to earn a living.

The gypsies use a modified bullock cart with a loud speaker to attract audiences. The cart are also doubled up as their homes.

In south india nomadic street circus tribes are mainly present in Tamil nadu state. They are locally known as '' kalai koothadis''.Their main perfomances are tight rope walking, acrobatics & folk dances.

These nomadics perform their skills on street side path ways, festival grounds, temples, markets etc. Their main income is the cash & cloths donates by the peoples.
